Meet our Aggie Ambassadors

Aggie Ambassadors are student employees who assist the Office of Undergraduate Admissions and Orientation. The ambassadors play an integral role in the success of New Mexico State University students. They assist with the daily office duties and give campus tours to individual students or school and campus groups.


Ace John Gabrentina

Major: Kinesiology Exercise Science

Advice I would give to students: Do new things and continue to move forward.

Alejandro Rojas Barcenas

Major: International Business
Hometown: Cabo, Mexico
Favorite spot on campus: The weight room in the Activity Center and the Undergraduate Admissions Office.

Advice I would give to students: Make good use of all the resources you have on campus, including people, people here are very friendly and always willing to help anyone who needs it.

Carlos Levya

Advice I would give to students: Be ready, stay calm and get involved.

Eddie Gallegos

Major: Nursing

Advice I would give to students: Don’t be so hard on yourself. Learn from your mistakes and to let go of things that are out of your control.

Hailey Armijo

Advice I would give to students: Get involved on campus, make friends with your peers, and study hard!

Hunter Stewart

Advice I would give to students: Always ask questions, don’t be afraid to ask for help, make study groups, and get involved on campus.

NMSU Ambassadors

New Mexico State University has ambassadors across campus that will help guide and mentor students from all degrees, majors or any other interest they may have.
